Evening Visit To The Dunes - Playing Frisbee (June 18, 2007)
My visit last evening to the Great Sand Dunes
was a particularly special one. It was fairly cloudy and my photos of
the dunes were far from the greatest, but it was how I got to
the dunes that made this special: I had just biked my first "century ride" beginning in Buena Vista to reach here! :)
Note the two people in the center of the photo.
Special thanks to Derek and Anna for driving from Salida to pick me up and take me back home. This was Anna's very first visit to the Great Sand Dunes.

So what did we do? Oh, we walked around casually, enjoyed the refreshing water coming down Medano Creek ... and we played frisbee! :)
